ASKAAN invites applications for a digital communication officer familiar with the environment of NGOs to design and implement a communication strategy to strengthen the reputation and image of Askaan Santé among partners, donors, government and community.

We work in close collaboration with country governments as well as technical and financial partners such as UNICEF, UNFPA, UNDP, NI, CRS, OMVS, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Main responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the Digital Communications Officer are:
- Define and implement the digital communication strategy
- Develop awareness and reputation with donors, partners and beneficiaries via the various platforms deemed relevant
- Manage the website and ensure its maintenance and regular updates
- Produce quality digital content
- Create and ensure the continuous animation of the different digital platforms
- Develop the community on the different platforms and strengthen their engagement
- Analyze and measure the audience and traffic as well as the effectiveness of the digital communication strategy
- Manage relationships with web service providers
- Ensure a constant technological watch
- Ensure the implementation of the digital component of the various projects
- Participate in the organization and ensure the digital coverage of various events such as trade shows, workshops, conferences, etc.
- Any other activity related to communication
Basic knowledge and skills
- Bac+5 (Master 2) in communication, journalism, e-business and digital marketing
- At least 3 to 5 years experience in a similar position
- Have very good writing skills
- Be autonomous
- Be creative and have a sense of initiative
- Have an analytical and synthetic mind & be able to understand and translate technical documents into simple language accessible to the general public
- Knowing social media
- Have a thorough knowledge of digital communication
- Have basic computer graphics & audiovisual production skills
- Experience working in a non-governmental organization would be an asset
